Thanks for your quick answer, dannyk. I agree that quare is the correct reading of the clue. Chambers gives it, but not in this context. I just wonder if Moorey is swapping r for k in quare, with tremor as the definition. Discuss!
I think if the answer was tremor then the wording would be Strange Irish, Kings head for run( qaure being Irish for strange)
