Jane Wilson - help with a brick wall, please
Can anyone help with the elusive Ms Wilson, please?
She married Andrew Reid on 7 December 1860 in Kilmaurs, Scotland. Her father's name was given as Andrew Wilson (ploughman, deceased) and Margaret Wilson (illegible maiden surname). Her age was given as 20. I've found her on the Censuses from 1861 to 1911 where her birthplace is given as either Eastwood in Renfrewshire or Pollokshaws (the two are relatively close together). When she dies in 1912, her son, David registers her death. Her age is initally given as 68 but then corrected to 72. At this point, her parents' names are given as James Wilson (forester, deceased) and Jane Wilson (no maiden surname).
I can't find her on the 41 or the 51. And because I have no idea who her parents were, I can't find her birth either. Any suggestions, please?

I've checked the parish records for births before 1855 in Scotland between 1839 and 1841, they show only 2 Jane Wilsons registered in Renfrewshire and none of the parents tie in.
