please comment on the thread I've just removed... the people involved will know which one I mean.
I do want to know, did I overstep a line in removing it, or should I have let it go on? as far as I was concerned it had turned into a slagging match against one (possibly previously banned) user.
I guess what I'm asking, is what level of moderation do "you" want to see on this site? it's obvious to me a post shouldn't be removed just because it's not popular or widely agreed with.. but when the entire thread turns into a slagging one user thread (no matter how unpopular they are) what should the mods do?.... three of us did try and defuse the situation!
Baldric I know your comment is tongue-in-cheek, but rather than being Keros most successful thread to date, hopefully it is the best thread to deter future Keros.
We shouldn't be deterring anybody from using AB.
Don't read or reply to a user's post if you don't like what they say and if you think they overstep the mark, for the hundredth time, report it.
You seem to have some sort of sense of ownership here sir.prize. This is not YOUR Answerbank, it is everyone's.
Mojo - I have no argument with you, in fact I try to avoid confrontation. Please refrain from making inferences which are merely nonsensical and which you have no foundation to substantiate. 'Sense of ownership' does seem to be a silly phrase from an astute and educated member of AnswerBank. That isn't really the purpose of Chuck's thread.
