Daunting not to be on CB but Ed will only move me. :-(
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time was wonderful and moving. I so want to see it in London now.
The set, which was in the centre of the audience, was brilliant and if ever lighting technicians deserve an award it's for this.
Performances couldn't be faulted. Christopher and his parents made my heart break...made me laugh and made me cry.
A brilliant production all round...an absolute award winner I hope.
The girl, three seats away, who opened a bag of crisps during the first heart touching speech in a silent, breath holding cinema didn't get to eat them. She giggled and sniggered at my very loud....Shush now please! so I did a MrsO during the interval. In a kind but loud voice I apologised for shushing her but was aware she may not have been out to the theatre or cinema before and didn't want her to embarrass herself. She was very quiet after the interval.

ice cream ladies still appear at the interval in live theatre, though the seating arrangements are usually too complicated for them to do the rounds, so you have to go to them over by the doors. Funny how live theatre = live ice cream ladies. But I don't know whether you get them at "live theatre in cinema".
Ah yes, Annoying Things People Do In Theatres. Loud munching of food and rustling of wrappers is infuriating, as is ice clinking loudly in drinks. I don't get how the person can't realise it's annoying, or how more people around them don't seem to be bothered by it.
People using their phones, talking... On a theatre message board I saw someone complain that the girl who came and sat next to them took her shoes off and put her sweaty feet up, stinking the place out. I've heard tales of people opening up containers of steaming hot food and eating it, including pizzas and even curry.
