Angry wife

A man is sat quietly reading the newspaper when his wife enters the room and begins to hit him with a rolling pin.

'What the hell is that for?' he yells.

His darling wife replies that she was about to wash his trousers when she finds a piece of paper in the pocket with a womans name on it.

'That was the name of a horse I was given in the pub by my betting mate,' came his response.

So the wife happily returned back to the kitchen. Half an hour later she storms back into the room and thwacks him over the head again.

'For heaven's sake woman, what now,' he screeches.

'That's your horse on the phone looking for you,' came the reply.
