The corporate colours are Red and White is this anything to do with Father Christmas?

Yes it does! Originally Father Christmas was green and white (or often printed as black and white) and Coca Cola produced a red and white Father Christmas to boost winter sales - the new version has stuck with us.

A learned friend told be this story a few years ago, and I was very sceptical at the time, but google searches seem to confirm it. Or perhaps it is a huge urban myth!
