The Football Association charged Mr Terry on Friday 27 July 2012 with using abusive and/or insulting words and/or behaviour towards Queens Park Rangers’ Anton Ferdinand and which included a reference to colour and/or race contrary to FA Rule E3[2] in relation to the Queens Park Rangers FC versus Chelsea FC fixture at Loftus Road on 23 October 2011.

Suarez is a Johnny Foreigner.
And Rio Ferdinand? - what is his punishment. Bl...y ludicrous and a waste of money.
<Rio Ferdinand what is his punishment.>

For what?

The complaint to the FA was made by a spectator
They were duty bound to respond as per their regulations
Ferdinand had no say in it.
Rio Ferdinand received a large box of choc ices for his part in this case
A travesty of justice, I only hope that Terry takes that Boy's Club, to court over this, for bringing the FA into disrepute.
Joeluke-Couldn't have put it better, mate. A lot of Fuss about nothing.
I think joeluke was referring to the remark Ferdinand made against Cole on twitter? But do agree brionon, saying that I hope Terry appeals against the FA ruling.
