Do you chew with your mouth open ?

Just observed some quite attractive ladies who came into my local. They were chewing gum which I could see as they determinedly would not shut their gobs during the mastication process ! Are you horrified ? !

I chew chewing gum with my mouth closed and I whistle when I'm on my own because I think my whistle is as out of tune as my singing voice!

That was my point entirely - they must be mouth breathers.

As for women whistling, I know a very crude joke about that.......

I chew gum because I tend to eat smelly lunches at school and don't want the children thinking I have smelly breath; after having curry once several children commented that they could 'smell a poo' near where I was sitting! Can assure you it did not smell like poo; several people commented how nice it smelt when I was heating it up in the staff room!

Opening and closing the mouth when eating is (usually) unnecessary and looks disgusting to me, like watching a front-loading washing machine full of food.

You don't have to chew gum to make sure you don't have bad breath though. Personally I hate to see anyone chewing, but at the end of the day it's their mouths so I'm not going to lose sleep over it.
