Guess it had to be like that for the last show - so it would look as though the judges were competing. Could you imagine if it had been all three of Sharon's who got through to the last show?
I smell a rat.
Let me tell you guys this, for what it's worth.
A friend of mine is involved in the voting creditation and swears that it is proper, monitored and totally correct. Within that group of people he says that they believe the choice is made on the following factors. 1. The fan base that the individual has created will always vote for them and remains constant. eg those with an affinity for Irish and Ireland would always support the Conways regardless of the performance.2. The attitude of the artist to the judges can move them in and out of favour to such an extent that they either go out next time or are damaged for the next vote eg Shayne snapped back at Simon one week (who if nothing else gives an honest appraisal) and almost lived to regret it the following week. 3. The choice of song is the deciding factor for the artists who are closely voted. eg a song that is not that well known damages them. (remember Andy being told by Simon "wrong song mate - your in trouble)
When you think of the past weeks these comments that I pass on are very true.
