Identity of song / artist

I have located an old grundig tape recorder and on it is a motown type song. The words go something like, ' to me you're candy... you're not an ordinary girl... because you're candy to me...you're a real sweetheart...you're and angel to me....no sugar on you.

If it is a female singer it could possibly be Your kiss Is Sweet, by Syreeta but i am not sure. good luck.
