Im really excited for halloween too! :) But disappointed to see tesco had their Christmas and not halloween! Don't get me wrong im excited for Christmas but its a wee bit early! :) Oh and for anyone wondering its 85 days till Christmas (not counting just looked up on a website there) : http://www.xmasclock.com/
Our Tesco had Hallowe'en costumes on sale.

Makes sense to me though, Christmas is far more interesting sales-wise than Hallowe'en, lots of people (including me) loathe Hallowe'en.
Mmm.

No didn't think about laughing until I thought about it a little bit later haha! :) But it was funny but a joke to be honest!

@boxtops true I love Christmas too more than halloween! But I did think it was a joke having Christmas stuff out before halloween stuff!
Aye, I mean what do Tesco know about retailing and making a fortune anyway?
Question Author
@douglas9401 had a laugh there haha but mmmmmmmmm
not really a joke when you look at it from the retailers point of view- wayyyyyy more money to be made from Christmas than Halloween.
Tesco has had Christmas stuff out since the end of August (so has the Card Factory) - Hallowe'en's only one night and most of the population take no interest in it. The money's with people like us who buy early for Christmas - Hallowe'en's a very limited market.
I looked at Christmas cards in B&M yesterday. They've got the trees and the lights ready too.

Tad of a joke although these were proper things like trees, cards, wrapping paper and chocolates etc but I was reading the newspaper (true or not I do not know) but it said that most of the christmas food/chocolates would be out of date before halloween is over...
local co op has christmas sweets down one aisle and halloween stickers on the windows and doors perhaps they cant make up their minds.
