No, duncer, I'd never - ever blow any smoke in anyone's face - I'd be soo ashamed of that, sorry if that's how my post came over :)
But, I still uphold the rights of anyone to enjoy what they want to do, within limits of the law as it stands, without interference from vigilant peolpe telling them what they already know.
My apologies if we both took the wrong end of both our points. ☺
I doubt there are many smokers who would do that Duncer. We are kinda forced into doorways these days which makes it inevitable sometimes, but I will always stand as downwind as I can when smoking outdoors and so will any of my friends.
Jeza et al, we are a broad chuch of many opinions, although duncer has reformed as a smoker, their opinions are still valid, and should not be taken as a personal attack on any AB'er.
Nibble, Mojo, apologies and keep on puiffing. My gripes are for those who will join you in a bus shelter, sit beside you and start smoking and, when you ask if they mind, tell you to "Go forth and multiply" If you are a considerate smoker than I have no desire whatsoever to stop you. I smoked for 30 years plus, and to suggest otherwise would be hypocritical om my part.
Years ago I was in an airport. I moved away from everyone and lit a fag. A guy walked up to me from a long way away and said "I object to your smoking" I said I object to fat bastr?d with a mars bar sticking out of his gob telling me what to do.
Seriously though, well done. I know what you mean about affording it. My pal bought a packet when we were out last Tuesday and I nearly sh@t myself at the price, and I haven't been stopped anywhere near as long as you.
