Ipod Speakers

I am looking to buy some Ipod speakers, can anyone recommend some? Also where best to buy? Im thinking of going to Tottenham Court Road, any advice if I go there?

just bought my daughter some of these, i was told to ask for ," an ipod station" which i did so can't recommend any cos i've wrapped them up and have'nt got a clue what they're called,but i got them from dixon and they where � 59.99...... just found receipt they're called spectravid ipod speaker system!!! she only likes good stuff so i presume these are good uns!!! phew merry xmas

Thanks for your help there, found them on dixons.com and they are sold out! Does anyone know if the Altec InMotion speakers are any good? what should I pay for them?

I got my I station �49.99 from Amazon and it's brilliant...tiny but with a subwoofer and brilliant sound...think it's Altec Lansing but it's at work at the mo so can't check...i have the mini Ipod so check the site if it's ok for a regular Ipod.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

depends how much you want to spend? The Bose Idock is the best for sure! �249 though. Available on ebay or from the Bose website. You get what you pay for.

i know its quite expensive but the monitor idock is the best out there at the moment (unless- you start buying separates).

It costs the same as the bose sounddock �250.!! But if you are wanting to replace your existing stereo- this is the choice.

If you're after a budget speaker set then the altec lansing speakers mentioned are fine. I bought my kids some speakers off ebay- for 50p �11 postage from hong kong- and they are fine- i prefer better quality sound , but for the kids they are excellent.
