Almost there,help with two please.2d.Inferior horse,one I brought up for supplementary performer(7)RI?R??O.
16ac.Reverse of composed,bird in a tizzy(7).T??TE?N. The second appears to be "testern" but how does that relate to "in a tizzy"?

Ive just discovered that "tizzy" is an old term for a sixpence so now I know!. Thanks

Also realise now I gave wrong letters. Id enterred grin instead of girn so R should have been I
'testern' and 'tizzy' must be VERY old if neither me or hubby had heard of them :-)
tes (set [composed] backwards) + tern (bird) = testern
tizzy is an old word for sixpence

rip (inferior horse) + i + one backwards = ripieno (supplementary performer)

14ac is girn not grin
