Can anyone help a scaredy cat get her money back!!
I brought some suede over the knee boots from Office that were 110. However the first time I wore them I found that they kept falling down to my ankle!! This was slightly annoying as I had to keep bending down every 30 seconds to pull them up!! As you can imagine I really don't want to be doing this!!
I took them back to the shop four days later and was told by the manager that as they were rouched they were supposed to do this, despite the fact that they are being advertised as over the knee???!!! I wasn't even asked to put them on to demonstrate the problem!!
They have now been sent off for "Head Office Analysis" but I think i am going to be fobbed off. Does anyone know what my rights are on this??? I would have excepted a credit note but after they way I was treated i would prefer a full refund.
Please help as I would like to be wearing some new boots on Xmas day!
Thanks
H x
P.S. I don't even have skinny legs!!!

I had a problem with a leather coat - the back outside seam went, I took it to the shop who said they would send it off to be repaired (a day after I'd bought it!). Trading Standards had told me that I could, by rights, ask for a refund. When I told them this they gave me a new coat, which was not defective. So if they offer you new boots, and they have the same problem, get your dosh back and go elsewhere.
