There is an offence of being drunk in charge of a child under 7

Seems you can go to prison for it , you have to scroll down the link a bit to
Penaltys drunk in charge of a child. 1 month in prison is possible. Don't think many people have been charged with it though.

You don't go to prison these days for selling drugs and beating up old people so no I shouldn't think you would go to prison
