1st time pregnant....

Hi i have been worried in the back of my mind about having stomach pains.like i was going to come onto my period. I have not long found out i am pregnant. i wasn't expecting it as i was getting these pains. But i looked on here and saw a ad about the same thing happening to other woman. Thanks you have put my mind at rest. I have my 1st appointment with my midwife monday. Really nervous about all this. Just never thought it would happen after 3 years off trying and as soon as we stop trying it happened!!!

Hi Sue, Congratulations on your news,

I felt exactly the same as you just before i found out i was pregnant and still didnt believe it when i was because of the pains i had. Your body will be going through all sorts of changes now so try not to worry and your midwife will put your mind at rest. Enjoy every minute of it and good luck x

sue, you are the luckiest person in the world! a new baby is the most wonderful thing. Read all the literature the midwife gives you, count the days to measure the baby's growth and thoroughly pamper yourself cos after the little 'uns born you'll read all the books and panic!!! lol. seriously, lots of love to you, your Mr and your little one!

I know how you feel i was trying for months and months had no period for about 3 months and had given up after negative test after negative test...... to find out i was pregnant JAN 2004, My daughter was born Aug 2004.

Enjoy every min of your pregnancy..and make the most of "you time" as they can b demanding!!!

but we still all have them n wouldnt swap them....... WOULD WE?

A friend of mine tried for a good few years with no luck and they eventually adopted. Not long after she found she was pregnant. Strange things happen. Congratulations for your little one.

Gosh thanks for all the replies was'nt expecting its great to know there are people there for you when you need them.

I have been to the midwife 2day found out i am 10 and a half weeks. due date 6th june.

she put my mind at rest with the pains. As long as no blood no problems.
