Wetherspoon pub Barking Dog in Barking
Could someone help settle an argument about this pub. I think there sre individual 'booths' to sit in on each side of the pub where you walk in, and the restuarant is at the back of the pub. The bar runs down the left hand side from the middle of the pub to the far end beside the restaurant. Am i right?
Having heated row with husband! Also, there is a statue of a dog in there...what dog is it?
I think it may be a greyhound, but not too sure.

Yes the bar runs down the left hand side of the pub, but Wetherspoons pubs don't generally have "restaurant areas" as every table has a number and you can effectively eat where you like - providing you have a table number.
And yes, booths are another feature of Wetherspoons' interior decor.
As regards the statue, I can't recall, but maybe Cheeseman, might have the answer by now. If not, I can call my mate who lives in Barking or you can call the pub and ask them! barkingdog
