I am wondering if the police were right to release the details of the person suspected of abducting her.
If by any chance the police find out later he had not abducted her I wonder what chance will he have to lead a normal life again.
There are always nutters who would take revenge even if he is found not guilty.

And if he does, I bet the police are already aware of it - a lot goes on we don't know about I'm sure.
He's clear - he doesn't really know his father, sees him in the pub occasionally, only saw him for the first time in his life a couple of years ago (Torygraph this morning)
The son was interviewed yesterday only met his dad a couple times he said. Seemed abit thick TBH, he said it had nothing to do with his family any ways
I'm also sure that there's a lot going on that we don't want to know about either.

I can't begin to imagine what her family are going through.

Don't forget the case of Christopher Jefferies, the landlord in the Jo Yeates murder case.
Maybe not the son then.
Hopkirk - wasn't it the media that named him? Not the police?
I'll concede on that point, Ummmm.

Perhaps that is why the press have been a little restrained in this case.
You'd like to think they learned a lesson
Who?
The press, I presume.
I do hope a good thorough search of the house was done. Remember the last time little girl's body was in grandma's house for a week and the police had searched quite a number of times.
sorry, yes the press
a superb article on mr jeffries hopkirk x
I read somewhere earlier today that, post-Jeffries, Attorney General Dominic Grieve has brought more contempt proceedings in the last two years than his predecessors did in ten
From the enquiries the police have had I imagine it assists in their appeals for information about his movements - potentially a clue to where she might be in case it is him who has taken her.

From something I read in one article it looked like they had been actively looking for him personally - sounds like he was well known in the area.

Do you think he was known to the police as a sex offender on the register? That hasn't actually been said yet.
Also they are appealing to people who saw Mark Bridger in the hours from when April went missing and when he was picked up. As they recovered his vechicle from a repair garage, surely he booked it in for repair - I hope they have spoken to the mechanics/receptionist there!
Also about his vehicle; when the witness saw April get into the vehicle on Monday, they said she got in on the 'drivers' side, which meant either she climbed over the drivers lap or it was a left-hand drive vehicle. Apparantly this suspect's 4x4 vehicle is one of only 2 lefthand drive vehicles in that area (covering a large radius).
I pray that she is safe & well.
This is tragic I cried when the girl's mother came on TV, the poor little mite is only 5 years old. I hope they find her soon.
