I own a Ford Puma and after a recent MOT have been advised to replace my 2 front tyres and to have the steering re-aligned as it pulls to the left. I am female and truly know nothing about this sort of thing. I have been ringing round for quotes and they really do vary. I only potter around town and my manual says I require tyre size 195/50 VR 15. Can anyone advise me what I should consider to be a fair price for this work including VAT. I would be most grateful for your advice. Thanks.

Hi Yest, to start, do not go to K.F. they WILL rip you off, go to National Tyres or your local tyre fitters, there are one or two things that can cause this, you have either Kerbed the offending wheel to cause the Alignment to be out, a track rod end worn, wheel nuts loose ( It has been known to happen) each garage vary in price for tyres, If you do not do a lot of milage ask the garage to fit a reasonable tyre to the milage you cover they will advise you.
You should get all that sorted for £100 or less with medium range tyres.
