CCTV Cameras seem to be almost everywhere these days,so you might expect unusual phenonema to show up in the wee small hours when half the words asleep.

Do we have any evidence ?

I can see logmans point, for years people have believed in ghosts etc... and a good excuse for the lack of hard evidence is that nobody had a camera on hand at the time it was seen, Aha, but now with cams everywhere if anything ghostie etc.. exist's then something must have been seen on a cam by now, I assume the fact that nobody has blurbed this all over the front page one of the ''higher class'' daily papers means that the evidence has not been forthcoming.

This wasn't on the Underground Chessman, but in the days before cameras the police had ( and probably still have) vehicles in which to remain unseen and to watch for the world's naughty people. One night a young couple demonstrated their virility on the bonnet, and the officers had to wait patiently until they went away.
