Bit early ain't it

Next door but one are having some work done but they decided for the second week in a row to get the hammers out at 8.30. I've been up since 7.30 but a little while of peace and quiet on a Saturday morning would be nice. Especially when I feel like I might have yet another migraine coming on.

Is it just me being a bit over grumpy?

I think 8:30 is probably reasonable. I'd prefer 9am plus though.

Local council here says 08:00 on weekdays, 09:00 on Saturdays and 10:00 on Sunday. I think more consideration should be given as some people might like a lie in after a week of 05:30 starts. I appreciate other people have work to do, but we were recently woken at 08:00, only for the fat laybouts to take a break for an hour and a half at 09:00. that really p1ssed me off.
