saving messages etc

I want to reboot my computer, but how do i save my messages, and addresses etc, I am using OE5

When I have rebooted I have used the "save as" command for all messages and saved to the "A" drive. However, the only way to "save" the address book, which I have found, is to print it then manually the address book again.

You can save your address book on Outlook express by opening address book, selecting all addresses in the list, and in the file menu, select export type Address Book (WAB). Then save the file to a drive of your choice. When you reinstall everything for the first time, Open address book again, and from the file menu again, select import address book (WAB) and select the file you previously saved to disk.
