Ever sent a txt to wrong person.....and really wished you hadn't!

I once sent a txt to a bloke thanking him for a wonderful evening. Unfortunately I sent it to another guy I had also seen that week ( I couldnt decide between the two!).
Needless to say I got a stroppy reply saying he was glad I had enjoyed myself but clearly it wasnt with him. Strangely enough I never heard from him again!

Yes , it happens!! I have sent a message for my GF to my mum and text an ex girlfriend who had the same name as my current gf!!
But equally I received a very explicit message last month from my friend about how he was going to give me a good seeing too (will spare the details) clearly meant for his GF.

recently i sent an email to one of the top dogs here calling him a roquefort

that was horrible, luckily i realised and sent an email apologising before he read it. he took it quite well.

I haven't, but I quite often get texts from two of our children, usually slagging me or hubby off that have been meant for someone else. I'm keeping them all as evidence.

Oh I do it often but my cringiest was after two friends had been staying with me for far two long. I sent a text to another friend...you know the sort..YIPEEEEE!!!! They've gone at last!!!! YAHOO!!!! They've finally cleared off!!! YAY Hope they never come back!!!
I don't need to tell you who I sent it to by mistake do I? They haven't been back though. :-)

Nine years ago, on birthday, I got drunk and finally came out as gay by sending a message to that effect to everybody in my Moble's addressbook.

Unfortunately, as I used my Mobile as a business tool, in my job as a Financial Adviser ( since retired, thanks God ! ) I had these strange messages back over the next week or two, saying " We are not terribly sure who you are but we very glad for you all the same ! "

It was a tad embarrassing at the time, although I can laugh at it now !

Wasn't that surprised but think I would have found out soon enough.

OH god I've done it loads of times. Normally drink related. Now I put the mobile away or swear to eat my own sim card before I get shedded.

I sent a text to my bank last week asking for a balance. Only it didn't go to the bank. It went to the AA. (That's Automobile Association, not Alcoholics Anonymous)!!!!!!!!!
Needless to say I didn't get a reply.
They're probably still wondering who the idiot is who thought they were a bank.

Yep, wrote a text mythen husband about another work colleague, telling them 'Im sure she is a closet Sappho!' and sent it to the girl I was texting about !! Ouch. She came straight over to my desk and demanded an explanation, I casually replied "Oh, Im doing some text therapy, as advised by my counsellor". Oooer........

I have a friend who is a bit trying. one night we went out for an impromptu drink on her suggestion. Then when I met up with her in town from our houses I realised she was already drunk, had no money and had a right monk on and it wasn't long before she was giving people attitude. I meant to send a text to my bf saying about the state she was in and the nightmare she was being but I sent it to her instead. that didn't go down well!!!
My son also likes sending texts on my mobile to his dad saying how much he loves him and misses him but doesn't like putting his name to it so i have to quickly send a text after saying 'from matthew' to save any unnecessary cringey confusion.
