Why does God hide away in secret ?
80 Answers
In the bible it repeatedly reports what God said but it's always in a loose unproven way. He supposedly talks to prophets privately, so the people for whom it is intended never actually hear it. e.g. Moses on top of a mountain
Sometimes he even uses a proxy to pass on a message e.g. Archangel Gabriel .
He supposedly talks to the prophets through dreams and visions but the prophets themselves all describe him differently.
In the Quaran he talked to Muhammad many times in a cave again when the prophet was alone.
Why the secrecy ?
If God wants us to believe in him and to hear his messages why not just tell us direct. Is that so difficult for a God who created the Universe.

and God if he existed would know that , he gave them to us . So logically he would use those senses to communicate with those mere mortals whose other senses were weak or non existant.
I should add I accept there may be senses which we are not yet aware of
and I know that the power of telepathy is possessed by some humans and animals but even that power does not detect God , although those who have it can't explain it.
I should add I know the power of telepathy . My mother and great grandmother had this power . As a child I accepted it as normal . I thought all mothers were like that.

khandro Mendeleev was not using another inate sense, he based hs findings on the work of at least 10 earlier scientists dating from Lavoiser 1789.
Mendeleev studied the characteristics of each new chemical that was found and observered the relationships . He noticed that there were gaps and realised there had to be other chemicals to fill those gaps. It was no Eureka moment . It was hard work and he had several false starts. What is more he used his 5 senses to test and prove his beliefs. Tests which anyone of us can use any day. Not rely on an epileptic prophet hiding in a cave or on top of a mountain.

Presupposing the existence of a divine creator never explains how He did it nor who/what created Him . . . although there does exist an extremely likely candidate for that position; the imagination of a highly evolved entity, unfettered by the need for an explanation of the means and process by which anything, no less understanding, is achieved.

No not the watchtower. Read the Good News Bible.
It says there:
From one man he created all races of mankind and made them live throughtout the whole eafrth. He himself fixed beforehand the exact times and the limits of the places where they would live. He did this so that they would look for him, and perhaps find himas they felt about for him. Yet God is actually not far from any one of us.
Obviously you have not checked all the Bibles. I can also quote the same (or similar) words, in other Bibles.

The meaning of the name Jehovah, “He Causes to Become,” indicates his ability to become whatever he needs to become in order to accomplish his purpose. Unlike humans, Jehovah’s witnesses has no need to hide his intentions because of fearing that others might be able to hinder him in carrying them out. He simply cannot fail, he openly reveals in his Word, the Bible, much of what he purposes to do. He promises: “My word . . . will not return to me without results, but it will certainly do that in which I have delighted, and it will have certain success in that for which I have sent it.”—Isaiah 55:11.
So true Christians. They do not hide God’s identity behind a mask of namelessness or behind a mysterious, unexplainable Trinity doctrine. Unknown gods are characteristic of false teaching. Jehovah’s Witnesses truly appreciate the privilege of being “stewards of sacred secrets of God.” By openly revealing these secrets to others, they help draw honesthearted ones to “Jehovah” ( Malachi 3:18)

A local electrician went to the Kingdom Hall to fix an electric meter. The man was a notorious drunkard in his village. While fixing the meter, he took note of the yeartext: “Draw close to God, and he will draw close to you.” (Jas. 4:8) He paused and asked one of the brothers: “Is it really possible to draw close to God? Can sinners draw close to God?” The brother gave him answers from the Bible and invited him to the meeting. On Sunday, the man decided to go to the meeting but in another village, as he did not want his neighbors to see him going to the Kingdom Hall. As it turned out, though, the public speaker for that day was an elder from the man’s village. Upon seeing him, the man tried to hide. But the elder recognized him and warmly welcomed him. At that, he decided to attend meetings in his own village. A Bible study was started with him, and a year later he got baptized.
At that time, the man’s wife was working abroad, and she could not believe that her husband had stopped drinking and had become one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. To see this for herself, she returned home. She was happy that her husband had stopped abusing alcohol and was caring for their children, but she did not like the fact that he had become one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. One day, however, he asked her, “Could we, please, go to the Kingdom Hall all together, as a family?” She agreed. A Bible study was started with her, and in a short time, she got baptized together with their three daughters. Thus one Bible verse helped five people to draw close to God.
