I have just changed the background. I right-clicked to save the picture and then minimized everything so that all I could see was the desktop. I then clicked on a bit of the desktop wi no icons on it and then it gave me a pop-up the bottom of which gave the option to "personalize."

I clicked on that and another menu appeared one of which was "Desktop Background." I clicked on that and was then given the option to select to choose a background and I selected pictures and then on browse.

The pictures I already had then appeared and I clicked on the one I had just downloaded and then "OK". Then Rab is yir faither's brither!!!
