The Prime Minister said Britain had a duty to ‘honour those who served, remember those who died and ensure the lessons learnt live with us forever’.
Lesson one: Forget the blood and guts sprayed about the place and prepare for the next one.
Lesson two: Build bigger bombs.
If "principled politicians" feel strongly enough about a given issue to start a fight, why don't they come out of their bomb proof accommodations and sort it out themselves face to face with whoever's upset them rather than spout gallons of pysh about freedoms and sacrifices which are essential to uphold our way of life?
If they're as clever as they'd have us believe then surely they could be working "really hard" to come up with better solutions than ordering folks over the top while dreaming of Empire in their comfortable beds.
I mean no disrespect to those who died but the po-faced sanctimony of Armani clad wastes of lungs chasing the next headline makes me ill.
