I bought 4 Mucha prints Prague about 10 years ago and had them framed. They cost me 25€ to buy but £126 to frame. The prints have now faded badly and I want to buy the same again to replace them. On the web, the Mucha site in Prague lists the prints, but when you click on them you're directed to company in this country which is very expensive and do not stock the same sizes etc. Any ideas how I can circumvent this problem? Any help gratefully accepted.

I've always liked Alphonse Mucha, very Art Nouveau.

Unless it's an unusual work you should be able to get the prints from any art print supplier in the UK. Prints come in different quality - from prints on art paper, through Giclee to canvas reproductions. Different quality, different prices.

Dear Plowter, Thank you for your input. The four prints in question are the four parts of the day ~ morning, afternoon, evening and night. As I said, when I clicked on Prague Mucha site I was passed on to the British 'franchise'.My prints measure 1000 x 380mm but the matching new prints are 800x 240. However, the canvas versions are 1000x380 but cost £75 each! I have tried emailing Prague but they do not respond. I think the cheapest option would be to Ryanair it and buy four originals! The trouble is there are lots of versions of this prInt. I have seen in some galeries in France a large printer which will print out any of the prints in the gallery for you there and then! Anyway, thanks for your help.
Have you looked on Amazon? There are a number of listings-including this one - Amazon.co.uk User Recommendation

The size is close to your originals.

So do I unfortunately. It pays in the long run because they never charge me postage now.
