Microsoft Start up Windows Outlook. Sometimes when I click on an email on the internet, this page comes up. I don't want to register with them and give them my password etc. Is there any way I can get rid of this window, and get my usual yahoo window so I can log in as normal?

uninstalling Outlook will stop it happening

Yahoo mail is based on a web page

Windows outlook is a stand alone email program.

Clicking on an email link on a web page can launch a stand alone email program automatically, it cannot take you to another web page that you happen to use for your email. you'll just have to copy the email address from the website then goto your yahoo email and paste the email address in to the "to" field there.

Uninstalling outlook will stop outlook coming up, but it won't make clicking on an email address load your yahoo page.

Thanks, I will uninstall Outlook. Chuck, the website I was trying to use just says 'click here' and doesn't actually give the email address so I can't type it in. Before I had a new hard drive fitted, I used to get a screen so I could type in my Yahoo email and open up that way.

Ok when I open Uninstall, I get:

Microsoft NET Framework 4 Client Profile
Microsoft Office Enterprse 2007
Microsoft Office File Validation Add in
Microsoft Silverlight
Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable (x 64)
(Same as above again)
Microsoft 2008 Redistributable 9.0.2...
Microsoft 2008 Redistributable 9.0.3...

I don't get Outlook separately so I can uninstall. By the way do I need all of the above? I very rarely use Word as I have OpenOffice. Thanks again.
