Well let's try to help as this question has been asked before.
Arthur Thorndike was the vicar of Aylesford parish church SS Peter and Paul from 1902-1909.
So..think of an actress...who was married to Hugh
Casson. This may be wrong but was what I came up with.

I am doing the same quiz and did see your post the last time someone put the question on here but I couldn't find anything in Sybil's biogs to confirm she was married in 1908, let alone where!

I have just tried Googling it from the church angle and found a site (to do with the Alchin family tree!) which confirms Sybil was indeed married in 1908 and at St Peter & St Paul in Aylesford.
