london not tower

My daughter has to draw a simple diagram of London Bridge for her homework. I am amazed at how many images of Tower Bridge appear, saying it is London bridge, when we google it!
i am right aren't i? London Bridge is the one without the lifting part?

Yes you are right. Strange that she was asked to draw London bridge, it's a fairly boring looking one compared to some of the others.

I help answering questions on the web site Trip Advisor and it is amazing how many people (particualrly Americans) who say they want to see London Bridge and then after some discussion you find out it is Tower Bridge.

The Americans deny that when they bought London Bridge to rebuild at Lake Havasu they were expecting Tower Bridge. But they would say that, wouldn't they?
