In general I think of people who attempt to be at one with nature.

You're righty sandy. It's the pagan extremists that give the others a bad name.
I once went to a pagan handfasting ceremony. It was a beautiful sunny day day out in a field. There was a donkey and children running around, lots of flowers and they jumped over a broomstick. There may well have been some witches and wiccans there, I don't know, but it was a lovely happy day.

Unlike conventional religion witchraft works on the wish and belief we can affect our environment through harnessing our intention alone and directing it to alter reality. The witche's canon is 'Do what you wilt unless it hurts others', pretty much straight from the bible's golden rule. If you try and gain a benefit by hurting others all that is supposed to happen is it rebounds and hurts you. The ceremonies resemble ancient religion but all ultimately not designed to worship nature but control it.
