breast cancer

My friend has just been diagnosed with breast cancer. I thought i read somewhere about a diet to try to help combat the disease. This would not be a substitute for conventional medicine, but complementary to it. Does anyone have any information about this? I'd be very grateful for any help.

You may mean a book written by Proffesor Jane Plant, who having breast cancer herself, wrote a book called Your Life In Your Hands. The diet is based on cutting out dairy products and substituting soya instead. The book is available on Amazon.
