xray results doctor calls u in?!

Hubby had xray on mon for arthritis in his hip,receptionist called today to say doc needs to see him tomorrow,i am panicking its something serious like tumour etc thy coild have foind..am i over reacting?!what else could it be?or if it was cancer would they have him in before tomorrow?

If it was an X-Ray on his hip, it is extremely unlikely to be due to malignant disease (cancer)....extremely unlikely.

My guess....just a guess.....is that your hubby has had pain in his hip and the X-Ray has shown severe arthritis and he wants to chat about a hip replacement................just a guess you understand.

I'm sure Sqad will be along to give you the professional opinion, but I would have thought if the x-ray was for arthritis and the doctor needs to see him, maybe it is arthritis and he/she wants to discuss treatment?

I know it's easy for me to say, but don't panic just yet.

Phew i just wanted bit of reassurance!he had a hip replaced when he was 11and had pain in his original hip so makes sense i suppose it is urgent to get the right treatment...?just seemed a bit quick them wanting to see him tomorrow?..or he coild just have a good doctor?!lol..
