Am in a café in the centre of Truro and police have cordoned off the west end of the main street, apparently there is a strong indication that it is a bomb scare, the building being Nat West.

It's cordoned off from Cathedral Lane across to Lloyds and I guess some 250 people there, mainly staff who had to exit pdq....couldn't even get bags or coats but then I would be out pdq too.
When I was a kid growing up in the RAF at the base that was home to Strike Command we used to have bomb scares all the time. Was horrible being woken in the middle of the night to have to dash in your PJ's to a meeting point.
They used to test the air raid sirens quite often too. That is a horribly haunting sound.
Well, I hope nobody bombs cornwall, my BIL is meant to be teaching me to surf next year.
