Chief Stout is cooking it right now, oooh the smells coming from the kitchen are almost too much, I have to do all the commi chef-ing and stirring but its worth it, you are all invited ..... pls kindly bring a bottle...... it will be ready about 8pm.

we as a couple are known as The Stouts even our e mail is "stoutsrus", when we wed our invites said WED A STOUT -- Stout Dot [ me] is marrying Chief Stout etc etc .... over the years we have both put on weight though I did slim down to size 12 for the wedding but that was along time ago ! lol !

forgot to add our spices have come from Goa, their curry is rich & pungent but not hot hot like vindaloo or similar, they have never heard of balti
I always make yoghurt with chopped cucumber and fresh mint to go with.
usually there is some over so we add tinned lentils and aduke beans and spinach and that makes another meal, but if we have visitors we usually give them what is over to take home.
