I can't believe anyone would be gullible to believe they had given birth in the stated circumstances. If they genuinely did believe it then in my opinion they are not fit to bring up a child.
It can only happen in Nigeria, I still get letters from Sister Umigooli in Nigeria asking me to support her six poor, but vastly intelligent children through University. The new 'mother' should have stayed at home and taken Senokot to clear her tubes, then consulted her doc about IVF.

i still never understand when people say they didn't know they were pregnant. Surely if you were desperate to concieve, you would have done a pg test?

nigerians....well what a suprise....masters of scams and cons and yet we fall for it all the time, the judge is yet another example of how pathetic and gullible some of the judiciary are
I can imagine being so 'chemically-challenged' that you don't realise that you are 'getting pregnant'........but this takes the biscuit!

also it was a while ago now,but my la la did hurt a lot afterwards
Even if it were a scam wouldn't you allow the couple to keep the child? They've shown they are desperate to have a child. The child couldn't be given back to its natural mother. The only other option would then be adoption.
The Doctor in Nigeria will be investigated, I hope.
I had to pee in the bath after it was so painful.

i agree that they should keep the child, just the fact that they are clearly lying or terminally stupid, yet the judge thinks they are telling the truth
