MP3 player...

My brother wants an Itronics MP3 player for christmas (Argos) but it seems too cheap to be any good (49.99 for 512Mb). Does anyone have any feedback on them, good or bad? Thanks

note: that doesn't seem too cheap; for 80 you can get the iPod shuffle 1GB (twice the number of songs), and while it doesn't have a screen, i'd argue that its probably more stylish, and definitely easier to use with iTunes.

I have read a few reviews for cheaper MP3 players and Creative come out well every time.
Try the Creative Zen Nano Plus 512Mb at about 63.
This comes with an FM radio and can record the radio (and voice) in MP3 format.
I have seen it in Dixons and other shops.
I THINK they may have dropped the Nano bit from the name to avoid confusion with Apple (although Creative had it first). May now be called Zen.
