Hi Abers
i bought 2 cardigans 2 weeks ago and found that they contained Angora wool!
Tried them on while wearing a black top.
I got covered in hairs, and thought to return them for another material.
If washed, will the hairs eventually stop clinging to the black tops I wear?
Would hate to change them as their really nicer and feel comfy x

Not necessarily - do you have to hand wash them...?
Nope, angora sheds till it can shed no more. I understand that if you store it in the freezer that will help with the shedding but have never tried it.

Will hand wash them as i do all new jumpers or cardigans boxtops.

i keep changing my mind whether to take them back or not.
(They will change them)
I think they will stop shedding eventually, I had one I hand washed it and used fabric conditioner because it became itchy on me. My sis admired it so I passed it on to her. Don't know how she got on with it.
If you've only tried them on (not actually worn them) it might be worth taking them back - they'll drive you potty if not!
I remember knitting an angora jumper, the fluff was up my nose and all over me, I used to store the wool in the freezer.

Mmm, dont sound good does it. Never had part Angora before.

Such a shame, as they look so nice.
If I bought just a black one, the black hairs would muck up a white top. lol.
I cant win can I !!!!
I have found that angora always sheds. It looks and feels so nice but the fur on black garments drives me nuts so I dont buy it anymore.
