Some of you know about my experiences with buying on-line....dicky duck and two birthing pools etc......

Gave it another go this morning....A £450 bookcase from John Lewis. Quite easy really....all went well and the order was confirmed until!!!!!!!!!.........

One hour later when the credit card company phoned me to say they had declined a payment to John Lewis.
Why?
Because it's so unusual for me to make an on-line purchase they wanted to check I really had!
Think I might give up. :-(

I can imagine that, exquisite aromas and, I bet, taste - the equivalent here, our , saffron cake baking, pasties, and then hogs pudding being assembled.....and not forgetting the gooey Cornish cream - and, remove from the mind, that Rodda's stuff that has, unfortunately, flooded the market.
