If your CD/radio has a casette deck as well, you can get an adapter that plugs into the earpiece socket on the MP3 player, and the other end is pushed into the casette slot.
The FM signal generator that vic mentions is great, except if your car radio is a good one, BBC radio2 signals tend to mask the FM transmitter, as majority of them use the same 88 to 81 wavelength.
