Around 3 weeks ago I was doing a bit of browsing and discovered it was possible to get a reduction in Council Tax if disabled, I filled in the on-line application form as my my wife is disabled explaining the conversions I have had done for a wheelchair user at our expense .
Yesterday a lady turned up from the council and said YES we were entitled and she would back date it 3 years.Discount is about 25%.
If I hadn't been bored I might never have discovered this.

they put information about this with your yearly council tax bill (at least our council do) so they can't really be accused of hiding the info!
