My daughter has plastic retainers to wear at night, after a train track brace was removed.

We have run out of Retainer Brite tablets to clean them.

Do any high street shops sell this stuff, or do I have to buy on t'internet?

Any good denture cleaner should work fine, remember to rinse well though.

Thanks Mamy.

We did that with my son's ones, and they went all cloudy. Mind you that might be the really hard water round here.
I use a quarter of a steradent (or similar) tablet in water, leave to soak and brush / rinse. It's apparently the same stuff as that what you named.

Thanks.

'er indoors reckons Steradent makes them brittle, so we will go back to the orthodontist for Retainer Brite
Is this the stuff.....

Yes, that's the stuff.

I bought a box today from the orthodontist - £5 a box.
Not cheap, but actually cheaper than buying it on line and paying postage.
I ran out and couldn't find it anywhere other than online and my ortho is in another town. I went into a local ortho to ask them what they recommended and they told me to just brush them with toothpaste like I do my teeth. Been doing this for three months now and they are still lovely and clean, and I'm saving £5 a month!
