i also was unale to come to the MOFC last night due to my machine badly playing up .. and i regret missing out on talking to you.

it could finally expire any time now, and when that happens i shall be gone for good - as i cannot afford to fix or replace it.

i will really miss conversing with a few very special people on here - yourself included.

i'll hang on as long as i can, of course but, you will realise that i'm gone when you do not see any more posts from me for more that three or four days.

i do not want to go, but i'll have no choice when the notepad finally kicks the bucket.

yes, there are internet terminals in my local library that i could go and use if necessary, but of course that would be very infrequently.

it's what salla did after her NHS troubles and then recently, someone gave her a new I-pod, so she is back up and running.....at least we know you are alright.

I have an asus pc too and found it to be really good......they are designed for engineers' use (not that I am one). I like the larger keys for my fat fingers too....

i am truly touched by your messages, and believe me i will hang on for as long as i can.

here is always the possibility of course, that it will not fail completely - just continue to freeze-up every now and then. i could live with that if i had to.

is it just Answerbank, excel? and if so are you using IE9 as that has been causing many a freeze up - one of the issues being its linkage with Adobe.

Google Chrome (with no McAfee hanging around) works far far better on my Asus.
