I admire Derren Brown's talent, but it's really become a one-trick thing hasn't it? Yes, he has awesome powers of suggestion, for suggestable people. It's obvious he picks targets for their suggestibility. So to unless he gets people to eat raw onions for the rest of his stage life, he has to go ever nearer the edge - eg the paranormal, the heist - and now the apocalypse. I didn't watch it either.
Fell asleep watching it .Dont believe a word of it .In that supposed situation how was the camera able to pick every emotion .Hours of bad television to prove what .Is this guy gonna be the model son brother after it. Give us a break
Thought the heist was good, haven't watched the latest one yet although I am not sure I am happy with the scenario. Find him to be a bit smug really but I suppose if he was a simpering twit he wouldn't have got very far.
I would love to see him live but I don't do zombies and freaky things and it may make my sleep pattern even worse! I haven't seen Apocalypse (because of aforementioned zombie-fear) but I have seen a few of his tv shows and they amaze me. I know of people who have seen him live and have all said that he is fabulous at what he does but it is all the power of suggestion. I too find him a bit smug but maybe that's just his stage-persona. I may have to watch this during the hours of daylight on catch-up!
