Bodies

The excellent hospital drama series "Bodies" on BBC2 finished recently, and I couldn't help notice how many graphic scenes of childbirth, caesarian sections etc there were. They clearly showed female private parts (well they would have to!) and I wondered if these were all prosthetic props and how they did it so realistically. Any info or ideas?

In a radio interview with one of the cast members they said there were lots of prosthetic womens parts and rubber babies with bits and pieces to make them move....scary stuff.
