Actually, neither of the Wright Brothers ever held true, official pilot's licenses. In 1940, an honorary pilot's certificate was awarded to Orville Wright with the designation of Number 1. Wilbur died in 1912 in the typhoid epidemic, and Orville in 1948... Shaneystar2 is correct however, about Clyde Cessna, who died in 1954...
