garlic
mint
cucumber(2)
2 wilted carrits
celery
cabbage
turnip
cheese
cold meat
and a few other odds and ends,i would like to freeze some of this stuff,so would appreciate some yummy ideas.
Being a gentleman prevents me from making any suggestions. You could however slice in half, scrape out the seeds, slice into 12 rounds, par boil and dry. the fry and just before it is cooked throw in some dill and serve.
Onions, tomatoes, chorizo & galric would make a cracking sauce for pasta, and will freeze.
Agree, mint, yogurt, cucumber and garlic for a raita/tzatziki (no it won't freeze)
Cabbage stirfired with onions, lardons & garlic.
Onions, carrots, turnip, celery soup, add a handful of lentils, rice, soup pasta to make it more hearty, shredded ham would be ok added at the end and serve with cheesy croutes. (will freeze)
i will start again
4 portions pumpkin purree for soup
pasta sauce using-onion,garlic,peppers,chillies,carton tomato sauce.
boiled potatoes and turnip and made mash
boiled cabbage
fried choriso and lardons and put into a container
celery soup
going to work on the cucumber and mint later
thanks for all the great ideas.
