When did you last cry?

I watched a programme the other night about orphaned baby elephants in Kenya, orphaned mainly due to their mothers being killed by poachers.

Their keepers were amazing, even sleeping with the baby elephants overnight. Some little elephants had comfort blankets. It was so funny to see them being fed with oversized baby-milk bottles.

Did anyone see the programme? I fought to hold back a tear, but lost.

So - when did your emotions get the better of you?

so often i think i should have shares in Kleenex
I do quite often, it does me good - but the last serious time was at my brother in law's RNLI memorial service, three weeks ago.
sqad, did you?

Dunno the last time I cried. Sorrow/despair was a year past on Mother's day come to think of it.
alba....YES.

I was in my first year at Med School and she phoned me to say that it hadn't worked out and would i go over to her college on Saturday to talk over old times.

I took a bus and went over to her room on the Hall of Residence and by the gas fire we chatted and ate crumpets with strawberry jam. We were both turned on and the inevitable arrived and HER in a heightened state of sexual excitement was naked on the bed...truly primed at which state i said.."Remember Gerald?" and with that I dressed, took my leave and bussed back to London.
oh you witch sqad!! well played sir :-)

pmsl at the thought of you with a crumpet and strawberry jam though :-)
''That was the last time i cried''

What about the time Mrs. Sqad came home early and found you parading around the front room in black stockings and suspenders with a satsuma stuffed in your gob?
alba....that is not the end though................

If you see an old lady...well preserved and still attractive.....in a car park on her mobile any Friday afternoon at 12.30........................................
...
snags..........so you heard about that.........LOL
It was in The Lancet... pictures as well. I thought it was a Tangerine.
I heard it wasn't a satsuma though.

Well-preserved, surely you don't mean pickled in gin?
Sqad, you remind me of Constantin Demiris a character in a book I've read. He is described as never forgetting people who have wronged him. He always gets his revenge, no matter how long it takes.
about 3 weeks ago,i was in such pain with a trapped nerve on my shoulder
Jeza..........LOL.......absolutely correct.
seems a rather pointless thing to do. ^
This afternoon. {:o(

Sqad - your stories always put a smile on my face....{:o) xx
windywillow - I would have cried at that programme too. I cried through most of Paul O'Grady's series on Battersea Dogs Home, but cried recently when watching Pride Of Britain this morning, which I'd recorded last night.
In April... at my Uncles funeral. I just don't cry very often.

I had tears of laughter a couple of hours ago at work though!! Does that count? XD

It's always nice to hear about tears of laughter, Erin. I cry easily at animal programmes, but cry with laughter quite easily too, have seen some really funny things on the internet.

Chapta, I cried at Paul O'Grady's Battersea Dogs Home series as well. What a smashing fella he is.

Thanks for all replies folks.
