electric paper shredder

Anybody know of a real cheapie - I need to shred a lot of paper but then it will never be used again.

Which ever you buy you'll need to do the shredding over quite a long period. The cheaper ones easily overheat when they are used intensively.

Could you not chuck it all in a brazier/bbq/fire to get rid of it?

For a one off it would be easier to burn it... We do all of ours in the chiminea.

agree with esccles tried the cheaper ones you cant shred all at once as they over heat and die, you have to do in stages.

Yes, I agree with the above, I have a cheap one and it will not cope with more than 2/3 pages at one go. Bonfire seems a better solution.
